The Host Store MultiStore Operating System!
The Host Store is the ideal software package for those businesses with more than one store location that need consolidation of sales, inventory, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger data.
Stores communicate with each other via the internet using file transfer protocol (FTP). Remote store inventory maintenance, customer maintenance, gift card and loyalty balances can be set to update corporate on a schedule of intervals as low as every 15 minutes. Updating corporate to the remote stores can be set on the same schedule. Daily sales, profit, and accounting numbers from the remote store update corporate daily at store closing.
A high speed internet connection is required at each location.
Inventory Control
The Host Store program's inventory module provides for detailed stock status reporting by vendor, department, and category, listing what each store has of a particular item on any given day. "Hot" lists, showing only those items which have reached reorder status, and "In-Stock" lists are two other inventory reports generated by The Host Store software. Item file inquiries can be performed as well in The Host Store, providing detailed information for any particular item by store location. The individual stores can also see what other stores have in stock of a particular item at the item file inquiry level in The General Store software. The Host Store system also provides for the processing of interstore transfers, an important feature in any multi-store environment.
Accounts Payable
The Host Store comes packed with all of the powerful features of The General Store's accounts payable module, but even better. The Host Store gives you the ability to process accounts payable for the entire business, and not just one store.
Accounts Receivable
The Host Store gives you added flexibility in processing accounts receivable. Let the individual stores process only accounts receivable sales and payments, and have the main office perform all maintenance, billing, and correction for the entire chain, or pass all accounts receivable responsibilities to the individual stores. The choice is yours!
General Ledger
The Host Store comes with a complete general ledger system, providing both a consolidated general ledger and consolidated financial statements.
Communications
The Host Store comes complete with its own bullet proof communications module built in! No messy interfaces to a separate communications package. All that is required is a high speed internet connection
